When the latest version of Read Live, version 4.7, was released last Friday, Read Naturally founder Candyce Ihnot wrote to the team and said, "I’m really excited about the story counter - perfect timing! Spring fever has sprung, and this new feature should be a great motivator!!"...

We're pleased to announce that Read Naturally successfully completed its SOC 2 examination and is SOC 2 compliant. The SOC 2 audit was conducted by A-LIGN, the leading provider in cybersecurity compliance trusted by more than 4,000 global organizations to help mitigate cybersecurity risks.

Read Naturally GATE+ aligns with all of the IES recommendations for teaching foundational reading skills in the early grades.

Results from the latest NAEP assessments are dire. Only one-third of the fourth and eighth graders tested nationwide are considered proficient in reading. Both groups experienced a two-point drop in average reading scores compared to 2022, continuing a downward trend that predates the pandemic. Notably, one-third of eighth graders scored below the NAEP Basic level, marking the highest percentage of underperformance in the assessment's history.

Phonics skills are foundational to reading and spelling and necessary for fluency and comprehension. All students benefit from developing these skills. However, they need a program that can be tailored to meet their individual needs. Word Warm-ups Live is the perfect solution.

Especially when these learners are struggling to read, idioms can add insult to injury. Let’s throw them a bone, shall we?

Dyslexia is a reading disability that affects millions of Americans. If identified early and treated with effective intervention, however, it does not need to adversely affect the lives of children with dyslexia.

In the past year, we’ve made significant enhancements to Read Live in order to accelerate student progress and maximize teacher efficiency. As you prepare for the upcoming school year, familiarize yourself with all of these updates, which include student-independent placement, data mentor, a host of changes to make the onboarding process more efficient, and much more!
