Congratulations to January Star Student Anthony M., a third grader at Angier Elementary in Angier, NC! Anthony's teacher, Elizabeth Langston had this to say about Anthony's hard work in the Read Naturally program:

Anthony is an English Language Learner and has really thrived in his oral and reading skills since he started Read Naturally in October.  His reading fluency has shown great growth, but most importantly his comprehension has improved.  When he started Read Naturally, it would take him about three 20 minute sessions to complete a story, but now he averages about 25-30 minutes to successfully complete a story.  Anthony is a great example of how Read Naturally really works!!!

The Read Naturally Star Student of the Month program is designed to celebrate students who work hard to improve their reading skills. Each month, we select one student to feature in our newsletter. The selected student wins a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card, and the school or teacher who nominated that student receives a $200 gift certificate for Read Naturally materials.
