The new school year is quickly approaching. Soon the building will be flooded with students both familiar and new. To ensure a smooth start for all of your students—and, most especially, for you—advance preparations to your classroom and curricula are essential.

As you prepare, we want to remind you to include time for Read Live setup. Even if you used the program last year, a teacher or administrator will need to do the following tasks before students begin working in the program in the new school year:

  • Advance students to the next grade
  • Assign new homerooms and lead teachers
  • Reassign licenses to new students

IMPORTANT: Since account administrators, school coordinators, and teachers have permission to complete these tasks, please coordinate your efforts to ensure students end up in the correct grade with the correct teachers. Having students in the correct grade is especially important for placement and reporting. Please review the current system requirements for Read Live.
