Read Live v1.3: Release notes

Read Live version 1.3 includes enhanced story and quiz content, revised Benchmark Assessor Live reports, and fixes for problems discovered since Read Live 1.2 was released. Some of the changes in this version include the following:
- All-new stories in Sequenced levels 4.0 and 5.0, with many compelling new story topics like “Extreme Ironing” and “The Smellier, the Better?”
- Many new, rewritten, or updated stories in other levels
- Read Naturally Live stories now use The Lexile® Framework for Reading. Lexile® measures for all Read Naturally Live stories correlate to Common Core State Standards guidelines
- Additional quiz questions in Sequenced levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 that test the student’s vocabulary and/or literal understanding of the story
- Optional Spanish read along for Sequenced level 4.0 (So, the Spanish read along is now offered for all Sequenced levels from 1.0 through 4.5.)
- Additional or updated vocabulary words for many stories
- Shorter phonics word lists on Phonics levels 2.3, 2.6, and 2.7 (This change was made in response to teacher reports that students were unable to meet the requirements for the Practice Word List step because the lists were too long.)
- Enlarged font size for story text, quiz, and other story elements at all levels
- Downloadable crossword puzzles in PDF format for each level (available from the Read Live Help page)
- Revised Benchmark Assessor Live reports that now include the student’s average weekly improvement and accuracy
- Updated Benchmark Assessor Live software, reports, and user guide that now list recommended testing dates for assessments
- Dropped support for Firefox version 3.6
- Miscellaneous improvements and fixes for the Student and Teacher modules
