Dr. Kimberly Whaley is currently an educational consultant, Liberty University online instructor, and ESL teacher from east Texas. She has a doctoral degree in curriculum, instruction, and assessment, masters degrees in reading and literacy and educational leadership, and a bachelors degree in elementary education.
During her years in education, Dr. Whaley has focused on the importance of reading and literacy as a foundation for all learning. Along with supporting educators in an administrative role as a campus administrator and an instructional coach, she has had the privilege of teaching in pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade classrooms as well as in undergraduate and graduate classrooms at the university level.
From her first exposure to the Read Naturally strategies, Dr. Whaley knew the program had a great ability to affect students’ reading skills. She appreciates how the Read Naturally strategies motivate students and successfully address the specific reading needs of students of varied backgrounds and levels.
