How will your students spend their last day in the reading lab this year? While this might not be their most productive day ever (we all know how the last few days of school can be!), there’s still an opportunity to make it count. A great goal for this day is to set students up for summer success. Consider the following ideas.

What is the number one thing on nearly every teacher's wish list? We've worked with teachers for over 30 years, and the answer is always the same.

Congrats to our May Star of the Month for the 2023-2024 school year, Jade! Jade is a seventh-grade student at Evergreen Middle School in Metamora, OH, who has made consistent progress in Read Live. Here is what Jade's teacher, Ms. Nofziger, had to say about her:

Hundreds of One Minute Reader books recently made their way across the world to Kenya, Africa, where kids are using them to learn to read in English. When the team at Read Naturally learned about the work of Joanne Friday, a former teacher who now does mission work with orphans in Kenya, we offered her a large donation of One Minute Reader books (30 boxes of materials in all) to bring to the kids there.

Congrats to our April Star of the Month for the 2023-2024 school year, Alexia! Alexia is a third-grade student at Campus Canyon school in Moorpark, CA, who is has made huge strides using Read Naturally Live. Here is what Alexia's teacher, Ms. Lemus, had to say about her:

It's now well past February, but the remnants of Valentine's Day still linger in my couch cushions. The handmade cards are always my favorite ones to find… especially the ones wishing a "Happy Valantine's Day." I asked my first grader if he knew what makes the word Valentine so hard to spell. The schwa sound—such as the one on the first "e" in Valentine—is notorious for making words difficult to read and spell.

Congrats to our March Star of the Month for the 2023-2024 school year, Kypten! Kypten is a fourth-grade student at Gordon County Schools in Resaca, GA who is making huge strides in reading with confidence! Here is what Kypten's teacher, Mr. Marycz, had to say about him:
