Students begin with a placement process and are assigned an appropriate level and goal in Read Naturally Live. Students needing additional phonics support can also be assigned specific exercises in Word Warm-ups Live to build mastery and automaticity in phonics and decoding. One Minute Reader Live supplements the development of literacy skills through guided, independent reading. In Read Naturally Live—Español, native Spanish speakers work with Spanish texts to develop Spanish literacy skills.

READ NATURALLY LIVE

Read Naturally Live offers 23 levels of three series. All series have the same basic design with strategic differences.

Sequenced series is the basic series and has 13 levels (1.0 – 8.0) with 24 stories per level.
Phonics series adds phonics lessons and activities to the basic design and has 6 levels (0.8 – 2.7) with 24 stories per level.
Idioms series teaches common American idioms as students work on reading skills. Idioms has 4 levels (3.0 – 4.5) with 12 stories per level.

WORD WARM-UPS LIVE

Word Warm-ups Live provides three levels. Level 1 provides practice in beginning letter sounds and detailed lessons on decoding one-syllable words across 69 exercises in nine sections. Level 2 teaches decoding skills using two-syllable words across 68 exercises in eight sections. Level 3 teaches multi-syllabic words across 48 exercises in seven sections.

ONE MINUTE READER LIVE

One Minute Reader Live provides six levels—early first-grade through middle fifth-grade. Each level includes six books with five nonfiction stories organized around a specific theme.

READ NATURALLY LIVE—ESPAÑOL

Read Naturally Live—Español offers eight levels (1.0–4.5) with 24 stories per level.

Our school has been using Read Naturally for 20 years! It's a vital intervention piece of our Title Program.

ReadLive is not only wonderful because of it's content, but also it's structure. It allows my readers to complete a specific amount each day and see results. It graphs their progress, so they can celebrate their gains. With only 3 weeks of trial thus far, we have been most impressed. Thank you ReadLive!!

Read Naturally is a wonderful fit for our school. This well-rounded program is easy for teachers, assistants, and students to use. It gives excellent phonics and fluency practice while also touching on vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills. The stories are interesting, and the students often enjoy sharing intriguing facts with their friends and teachers. I love that it can grow with students as they move from grade to grade and have different literacy needs.

I like the repeated reading aspect of RL and I like the activities that kids can be working on when they are waiting for a teacher. I think setting up kids or rostering kids could be a little bit easier.

I have used Read Naturally for years and my students LOVE IT! The topics can be extended to reach any intellectual level, despite the student's reading level. I have even used this with a student that was gifted/ dyslexic and he had huge improvements in fluency and comprehension. I usually extend the lessons using videos and letting the kids pick a writing activity that can go with the topic they have read about. I do both the paper and online versions. The online version makes it so quick and easy to track progress and the kids are really motivated by seeing their graph increase. I recommend this to any teacher, Special Education or general classroom.

I am special education teacher in a moderate/severe class. The majority of my students struggle with reading. Since starting the use of Read Live, I have seen a dramatic increase in my students overall reading fluency and use of phonics. The ability to track and record data on Read Live is valuable as it helps to provide goal data and leads toward new goals.

I am a grade 5/6 Special Education Teacher. I have been using Read Naturally for 6 years. I love the programs!! This year I am using both Read Live and Word Warm-ups with my students. I have 1 group using Read Live for fluency and comprehension focus, while another group is working at the decoding level, using Word Warm-Ups for independent practice. The students not only love using the programs for their reading, but they love being able to see their progress. It makes them very excited to continue improving their reading.

I have used Read Naturally in four different settings, and have had great student response. I am currently using it with Special Education high school students who are mostly reading at an elementary level. They find the stories to be high interest, and it often sparks discussions with the aides or others in the class when they share the content they have learned. I have my aides working directly with students, too, observing the cold timing and working on the pass activities, so students are able to advance at their own pace without much down time.

Students also love seeing their improvement from cold reading to hot reading, and work to improve their answers on the comprehension questions. If they get a comprehension question wrong after two tries, I work with them directly to show them how to figure out the correct answer. I love the data collection piece of Read Naturally. I am able to share the results with parents and the IEP team, so we know exactly which areas we need to work on. Some of the parents have requested copies of the stories, too, so they can see exactly what their child is learning and how they are answering.

My intervention students love Read Naturally. They enjoy reading engaging stories at their level. I love that there are so many different selections at various reading levels. Read Naturally reviews and challenges students to build fluency, phonics, and even keyboarding. I like that while I am working one on one with a student that there is a synonym and antonym section which is great for vocabulary. The kids LOVE to see their bars move up on the graph from their cold to hot reads. I have seen so much improvement and confidence in my student's reading ability in just 5 months. I would recommend Read Naturally to anyone looking for an excellent reading intervention.

Fantastic program. I cannot say enough good things about Read Naturally. I love the immediate feedback students get to see when they are working on fluency. I love the confidence I see blooming in students when they see how much they have improved in just a short time. I am in a title I school and this is the perfect program to help struggling readers. My students look forward to beating their cold times. Interesting stories, vocabulary development, phonemic awareness, comprehension, reading expression - Read Naturally does it right!!

I am a special education teacher in an elementary school. I have found the program to be extremely helpful in improving my student's fluency. I love how easy it is to implement and how the program has added features and tutorials for me and the students. My students especially love One Minute Reader because it gives them autonomy. The reports are easy to access and I share the results with the students so they can see their progress. I really think this program is essential for building fluency and comprehension!
